This historic 1984 concert is now restored from the original tapes, recorded by my late friend, and mentor, Gaylord Russell (aka, “Russ”) and at long last, available on CD and electronic download.
Full track listing will appear tomorrow, but it’s an hour of exciting, dynamic performance, featuring not only my own songs, but those of friends, Eric Andersen, Bill Chinnock, Don Schlitz, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Gillette and Adam Mitchell. Also a few by major influences, like Bobby Darin, John Lennon and Ewan MacColl. 18 tracks, recorded live, in concert, in Manchester, NH on December 8, 1984, the fourth anniversary of the assassination of John Lennon.
Payments will be accepted by donation to assist myself and my wife in time of extreme financial trouble, so you may donate ANY amount over and above the minimum suggested, for CD, but please, if you donate “double”, the suggested amount, note in the your PayPal payment how many actual copies of the CD you want shipped. Things have not been great in our household, and we are in serious danger of losing our home, utilities and WildCat Records, which never has made a penny. A limited number of these will be produced, and each will be personally autographed. Also, in coming days, I may be offering this album in a package with John Schindler‘s CD “Somebody Loves You”, which was the opening act this night. You WILL get credit toward the full set purchase at that time for this album.
PAY WHAT YOU WANT! ALL DONATIONS, of ANY AMOUNT will automatically get you an immediate electronic download. DONATE $20.00 or MORE and in addition to the download, you will get an autographed CD, INCLUDING shipping, Worldwide. CDs WILL SHIP ON, or AFTER my Birthday, July 17, 2012. MP3 Download will be immediate, on completion of PayPal transaction for all donators.
